The warm summer days of 2004, combined with cool evenings provided a perfect growing season for our Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. The concentrated, well ripened berries resulted in a dark red wine, with complex flavors of cassis, black currant and Bing cherries.
The wine spent 2 years in small French oak barrels, and aged another 30 months in the bottle, resulting in a luscious wine with moderate tannins and well balanced acidity.
The blend consists of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 2 % Cabernet Franc.
